I started investing when I was 14 years old, putting some money aside each month into some portuguese stocks. That worked nicely for some years but the bursting of the 2000 Dotcom bubble made me lose a substantial part of my initial investment.
It was obviously a wake-up call and consequently, I started studying to understand the reasons behind the stock market crash. As my passion lies in finance and macroeconomics, I read several books in order to expand my knowledge of technical and fundamental analysis.
A snapshot of my highlights includes a Master´s degree in Finance at Leeds University Business School (UK) as well as professional experiences at multinational companies such as the Financial Times Group and Mercer Consulting.
Finally, this year, I decided to write a blog so as to keep me and the investment community abreast of the pipeline of opportunities in the financial markets.
